Senior Officials visit Heritage Corridor in Puri; review progress
Development Commissioner & Secretary to CM (5T) visited Puri.
TNI Bureau: Ahead of reopening of Puri Jagannath Temple on December 23, Development Commissioner Suresh Mahapatra and Secretary to CM (5T) V K Pandian reviewed various ongoing developmental works in the vicinity of Srimandir in the wee hours today.
They visited the Heritage Corridor and reviewed the progress. Earlier, CM Naveen Patnaik had visited Puri in October 2020 and reviewed the heritage corridor work.
The Development Commissioner and Secretary to CM (5T) were accompanied by Works Secretary & SJTA Administrator Dr. Krishan Kumar, District Collector Balwant Singh and SP K. Vishal Singh.
The following work will be undertaken at a faster pace:
➡️ Cleaning of debris to be expedited
➡️ Expeditous Steps to be taken for construction of the 20m outer road.
➡️ Parallel plan for shifting of public utilities
➡️ Land acquisition process to be expedited both for the corridor and buffer areas.
