Police unraveled the teacher’s murder mystery; two held
Rourkela: At last, the Police unraveled the murder mystery of an unmarried retired teacher Sheo Kumar Nanda, a resident of House No- LCR/527, Chhend Colony under Chhend police Station. some unknown criminals committed murder of Nanda by throttling on 6 November 2013 evening while he was staying alone and whisked away with cash of Rs. 1,20,000/-, gold ornaments and two Nokia mobile sets 9model No-1100 & 1600) of the deceased vide SIM No-9437206406 & 9438713370, sources said.
Basing on the FIR filed by a relative of the deceased, Budheswar Nanda, police initiated investigation and succeeded in arresting two accused persons Dilip Oram (20) of Purunapani Township under Hatibari Police Station and Sushil Kumar Mallick (20) of B-63, Sector-16 under Sector-15 Police station, Rourkela.
According to DSP R.K. Bhoi Police has seized Rs. 28,650/- and a mobile set of deceased from the possession of Dilip and Rs. 33.812/- and a mobile set from the possession of Sushil. Both are forwarded to Court. It is also learnt that both the accused persons were the students of deceased.
