General Motor’s latest Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) Chevrolet’s ‘The Enjoy’ would be launched on May 9 in the Indian market. As per reports the vehicle will come in six variants with the option of petrol and diesel engines. And the probable price of ‘the Enjoy’ would be between Rs 6-8 lakh ex-showroom.
‘The Enjoy’ will compete against the Maruti Ertiga and the Nissan Evalia. It will be an eight seater having with the captain seats in the first two rows while the last row will be a bench. The top-end Enjoy LTZ will come with antilock braking system (ABS), electronic brake distribution (EBD) and two airbags. This car is basically designed for individuals, who prefer ample space at interiors including comfort and style.

While a 1.4-litre S-TEC II engine, that can produce 104PS of power and 131Nm of torque will power the petrol variant of ‘the Enjoy’, the diesel variant will be powered with a 77.5PS/188Nm 1.3-litre engine. Both the engines are mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
Though officially the date of launch of ‘the Enjoy’ have not been revealed, the MPV is reportedly going to arrive in the Indian market on 9 May 2013.
