The Odisha Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC) has signed a MoU with India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) to install light and sound shows at four major tourist places in Odisha – Dhauli, Khandagiri, Udayagiri and Konark.
The entire cost of the project will be Rs 18 crore. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has directed the Tourism Department to complete the work before Nabakalebara 2015 in Puri. It will be the first of its kind in Odisha although light and sound show remains a common feature at many tourist places across India.
