But once you visit the District HQ Hospital in Balangir, you won’t forget the horrible experience. Filth, dirt and unhygienic conditions will greet you there.
Neither the hospital authorities nor the administration bother to clear the mess. The indoor and outdoor of the hospital is in such a mess that people will be scared to get their kith and kin treated there, fearing further aggravation of the disease.
Despite media reports and highlights, the condition has remained so and all the efforts went into vain. The hospital authorities are aware of the fact but rarely pay attention to the allegations. The question arises, why the premises of the government hospitals is so unclean? This might be the reason that people prefer to visit to the private nursing homes.

Neither the authorities have the answers nor the patients. Earlier, falling of a ceiling fan had been reported in the same hospital causing no casualty.
Many have been complaining about the unhygienic atmosphere, but no action has taken place in the recent period.
People of Balangir want a solid solution in this context from the authorities and the health Minister.
