Dibya Satpathy’s Book ‘The Dormant State’ released in Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar, Jan 28: Wednesday witnessed the grand book launch of “The Dormant State”, a Political Fiction in English based on Odisha written by Dibya Satpathy at IDCOL Auditorium here.
Sri Soumya Ranjan Patnaik was the guest of honor for this book launch event. The function was honored by other Eminent guests Sri Prasanta Nanda, Dr L N Kar and Sri Prafulla Mohanty (Ex-HOD English, Utkal University).
The book release event started with a synopsis reading by Mr Shantanu Prusty(renowned person in authors’ society) which was followed by unveiling the book at the dias by the eminent guests. Then a book review was presented by Mr Prafulla Mohanty(he is a keen reader, gives book reviews and Ex-HOD English, Utkal University).
The event continued with a speech by the Chief Speaker and Guest of Honor Mr Soumya Ranjan Pattnaik who congratulated the author for his commendable work on his book and appreciated how young generations are moving close to their roots and passion.
Finally it ended with a small speech cum interaction with the author himself, Dibya Satpathy who narrated how he was inspired to write his first novel and how challenging it was to take up a story like this and place it in front of the readers. The book will be soon available at book stores and online platforms like Flipkart & Amazon.
Dibya Satpathy belongs to the Eastern Coastal state of Odisha. He is a graduate of the prestigious National Defence Academy and is presently serving with the Indian Armed Forces.
His love for his state is eminent from the backdrop of the story that revolves around his native place. Passion for writing drives this soldier close to the pen and he scripts his first novel.
