BJP-led NDA will form Govt in 2014: Rajnath Singh

Date:

TNI Bureau: Soon after taking over as the BJP President for the second time, Rajnath Singh declared war on the Congress Party, saying it has failed on all fronts. Rajnath further declared that BJP-led NDA would form the next government in 2014, sounding the poll bugle.

“The Congress has failed on all fronts, be it inflation, price rise or good governance. During the six-year rule of Atal Behari Vajpayee, the BJP-led NDA has shown its mettle and can lead the country again. We can bring the economy back on track,” he said.

Rajnath accused the Congress of playing vote bank politics and dividing the country on communal line. He hit out at Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde for his remarks on BJP and RSS involvement in promoting “Hindu Terror”. He said BJP would hold a nationwide protest against Shinde’s remark on January 24.

The new BJP President also hailed Gadkari and claimed that he has victim of political conspiracy. “The whole BJP is with Nitin Gadkari and we will help him come out clean,” he said.
