TNI Bureau: Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, who is one of the prime accused in the 2008 Malegaon blast and former RSS worker Sunil Joshi murder case, has been reportedly diagnosed with breast cancer. A mammography test, which was conducted on her, at Jawaharlal Nehru Cancer Hospital, has confirmed the ailment.

Doctors have advised her to get the treatment as soon as possible. However, she refused to undergo any treatment now. She said that she will get admitted to the hospital after performing some rituals.

Pragya is now lodged in Bhopal Central Jail. The superintendent of the jail MR Patel said that she cannot be hospitalised without her consent.

Pragya is facing trial for murder of former RSS worker Sunil Joshi. A chargesheet has also been filed against her in connection with Malegaon blast that claimed six lives and 100 were injured on September 29, 2008.
