TNI Bureau: There is no end to crime against women and even the nationwide protests could not change the mindset of people in Delhi. After the brutal gangrape of 23-year-old para-medical student, who breathed her last at Singapore’s Mount Elizabeth hospital on December 29 last year, another was girl was stabbed to death in the national capital.

The victim (20) was returning home along with her male friend and they were attacked near Dallupura timber market on Monday evening. Police said that that accused, who claimed to have known the girl, attacked the couple following a quarrel with her male friend.

The girl was stabbed to death and her friend was seriously injured in the incident. The accused managed to flee from the area. Police said that the culprit had also abused the girl while stabbing her.

Police nabbed the accused. The injured couple was taken to hospital where the girl was declared brought dead. Her friend was undergoing treatment.
