TNI Bureau: In a major administrative action following the alleged custodial death and third-degree torture controversy at Kabisuryanagar Police Station in Ganjam district, all 26 police personnel posted at the police station and its Balichhai Outpost have been transferred.

According to official sources, 24 staff members of Kabisuryanagar Police Station and two personnel from Balichhai Outpost were shifted out as part of the action. To replace them, 26 police personnel from different police stations across Ganjam district have been posted to Kabisuryanagar.

In total, transfer orders have been issued for 52 police personnel. The move comes amid growing scrutiny over the custodial death case and is being viewed as a disciplinary and confidence-building measure by the district police administration.
