HP Polls: Congress crosses Half-Way Mark

TNI Bureau: Congress seems to win the Himachal Pradesh assembly polls as it crossed the half-way mark, leading in 36 seats. As of 9:55 am, the BJP was leading in 22 seats, while other parties were in 3 seats.

The fate of 459 candidates will be decided today for the 68 Assembly segments of Himachal Pradesh.

Initially, the BJP was leading after the vote counting began in the morning. Later, the Congress took a comfortable lead.
