Irfan Pathan shares Stage with Narendra Modi

Date:

TNI Bureau: Cricketer Irfan Pathan surprised everyone today as he was seen at an election rally in Kheda with Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi. He also shared stage with Modi. Pathan, who is out of team due to his injury, his presence at rally may create a big impact on the voters.

Seems like, the politicians are sparing no chance to get the votes by following various methods. Pathan belongs to Vadodara and for that reason Modi picked up him as his weapon to impress the public at the rally.

The first phase of the assembly polls start tomorrow and the second phase will be held on December 17. Modi, who is dominating the political atmosphere in Gujarat, is seeking a third term in power.

Modi might have been criticised for his role in communal riots in 2002 when over 1000 people, mostly Muslims were killed, but now he has become an iconic figure in many Muslim areas of the state.
