TNI Bureau: The 86-year-old Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray is critical. He has been put on a life support system. Over 10,000 Shiv Sena cadres have gathered outside his residence ‘Matoshree’ since the morning.
Earlier last night, Bal Thackeray’s son Uddhav Thackeray had appealed to the people to maintain calm and pray for his father’s speedy recovery. BJP leader Gopinath Munde, who came out of Matoshree minutes ago, told the media that Bal Thackeray’s condition has improved now.
Heavy security arrangements have been made outside Matoshree and across Mumbai to maintain law and order. Several eminent people, including Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Manyata Dutt and others had visited Bal Thackeray yesterday.
Amitabh and Abhishek reportedly got injured while passing through the heavy crowd gathered outside Matoshree.
