Ahmedabad Test: India win Toss, Elected to Bat

TNI Bureau: India won the toss and elected to bat first against England in the first Test match of the four-match test series, which began at the Motera in Ahmedabad today.

Ishant Sharma is not playing in this test match due to illness. India is playing two spinners – Ashwin and Ojha and two pacers – Zaheer and Umesh. Harbhajan Singh was kept out of the playing XI, while Yuvraj Singh made a comeback to the team. Pujara also retained his place.
