TNI Bureau: The crucial BJP core group meeting began at the party headquarters in New Delhi to decide the fate of Nitin Gadkari. However, veteran BJP leader LK Advani skipped the meet fuelling speculations that all is not well within the party.

All senior leaders, including Arun Jaitley, Sushma Swaraj, Ananth Kumar, Jaswant Singh and Yashwant Sinha are attending the meeting. Gadkari won’t be present at the meskiting, but he would be defended by RSS stalwart S Gurumurthy, who will provide documents to claim Gadkari’s innocence in the corporate fraud case.

If we believe the sources, the decision has already been taken to support Gadkari and give him a chance to prove his innocence. However, Advani is not happy with the decision and has skipped the meeting to distance himself from any controversial decision.
