TNI Bureau: In a big development, veteran BJP leader LK Advani has come in support of party President Nitin Gadkari and hailed him for seeking a fair probe into the allegations made against him. Advani termed the allegations as “business standards”, and not misuse of power and corruption.

Advani accused the UPA government of trying to divert the attention from all corruption charges by shifting the focusbto Gadkari. He congratulated Gadkari for showing willingness to face any probe.

Another BJP leader Balbir Punj has also supported Nitin Gadkari over the allegations against Purti Group, saying the BJP President has done nothing wrong. He called the entire campaign as vendetta politics.
