TNI Bureau: At least 21 people were killed and several others injured after a massive fire broke out at a hotel and restaurant in Delhi’s Malviya Nagar area on Wednesday morning. The blaze erupted at the Lemon Green hotel around 9 AM, prompting a large-scale rescue operation by fire and disaster management teams. Several people trapped inside were rescued and taken to hospital, with some reported to be in critical condition.

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced an ex gratia of ₹2 lakh for the families of the deceased and ₹50,000 for the injured.
