Geetika Suicide: Delhi HC rejects Gopal Kanda’s Bail
TNI Bureau: The Delhi High Court on Friday rejected the anticipatory bail application of former Haryana minister Gopal Kanda in the Geetika Sharma suicide case. He is still absconding for 11 days.
Police have been searching for Kanda since past 8 days. He has been charged with abetting the suicide of his former employee Geetika, who was the airhostess of the MDLR airlines.
Geetika was found dead on August 5 at her residence in Delhi. Police recovered a suicide note in which she had alleged Kanda and MDLR official Aruna Chaddha for her death.
Police have arrested Aruna on the basis of the suicide note. However, she has been denying the allegations. In ongoing investigation into the case, police have raided the residence of Kanda several times. But, no clue has been found so far.
