Blast at BJP Office in Bangalore, 16 Injured

In a shocking development, a huge explosion occurred outside the BJP office at Malleswaram in Bangalore, causing maximum damages to many vehicles. At least 16 people, including some cops have sustained injuries. Two of them are said to be critical. The Bangalore Police confirmed that it was a bomb blast, which was triggered using a motorbike. It was an IED blast.

At least five to six cars and motorbikes were gutted in the fire triggered by the explosion. The police have cordoned off the area and started probing the matter. At least 500g explosives were used to trigger the blast.

Since today is the last date for filing nomination papers in Karnataka Assembly polls, many top BJP leaders were supposed to come to the office to file their nominations. Indian Mujahideen’s role in the blast is being suspected.
