TNI Bureau: Trinamool Congress leader Jahangir Khan, who had unleashed his terror in Falta Assembly Constituency during the rule of Mamata Banerjee, was paraded in shorts by the police, in his own locality. He was earlier arrested on Monday from Indo-Nepal border by the STF, on extortion charges.

Jahangir Khan was accused of voter intimidation and EVM tampering. The Falta polls were scrapped and later bypoll was held, but Jahangir withdrew from the poll race at the eleventh hour, out of fear and backlash.
