TNI Bureau: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced the closure of the Strait of Hormuz to all vessels following recent US strikes on Iranian targets, warning that any ship attempting to pass through the key shipping route will be targeted. The IRGC said that due to growing insecurity in the region, the strait is closed with immediate effect for all vessels, including oil tankers and commercial ships, and added that any attempt to transit the waterway would face military action.
