Voting in the fifth and final phase of the Panchayat elections in Odisha is underway on Thursday. Polling is being held in 13,514 polling booths in 975 Gram Panchayats of 48 blocks in 25 districts.
An average voter turnout of 79% was recorded in the fourth phase of the Panchayat polls in Odisha, informed the State Election Commission (SEC) on Wednesday.
Odisha has registered 73% voting in the fourth phase of the polling in the three-tier panchayat elections, informed the State Election Commission (SEC) on Tuesday.
