The ruling BJD's victory march continues unabated for the second consecutive day, as the party has comfortably surpassed its 2017 tally of 476 Zilla Parishad Zones by leading/winning in 533 seats out of 608 trends received so far.

While counting was held across 315 Zilla Parishad zones of Odisha on Day 1 yesterday, results were declared for 256 zones so far.

As counting of recently-concluded Panchayat Polls in Odisha is underway, the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) is heading towards a clean sweep in several districts.

In a shocking development, people of Kotia have rejected all political parties of Odisha by rooting for the Independent Candidate.

As per the State Election Commission, BJD is leading in 270 seats, BJP is leading in 24, Congress is leading in 15 and others in 06 seats.
