Samajwadi Party Chief Mulayam Singh Yadav stunned everyone by delivering unusual statement today. He pulled up his son Akhilesh Yadav saying he cannot return to power if he destroys his image in Uttar Pradesh. However, he praised senior BJP leader LK Advani for complaining about the governance in the state.
Addressing a rally in Lucknow on Saturday, Mulayam for the first time slammed Akhilesh-led UP government for not carrying out the developmental works smoothly in the state. He gave 5 months time to the state ministers for the best result.
However, he lauded Advani, who brought everything into his notice. He said that Advani never lies and he completely trusts his words. It can be noted that Advani had personally called Mulayam and told him about the ministers in the state cabinet. He admitted that the UP ministers were not working for the state and involved in their personal work
Meanwhile, he held the Congress responsible for the growing corruption in the country.
His statement came after M Karunanidhi-led DMK pulled out of Congress over Sri Lankan Tamil issue. Hence, SP and BSP were the ultimate hope for Congress to complete its five years term at the Centre.
