Blackbuck Poaching case: Salman skips Court Appearance

After Sanjay Dutt, it is turn for Bollywood actors Salman Khan, Saif Ali khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam, who could get sentence in the blackbuck poaching case. The court of chief judicial magistrate in Jodhpur read out the charges against four except Salman, who was absent in the court on Saturday.

Salman skipped the court appearance on the medical ground. He had informed that court that he had to be out of the country for medical treatment.

The actors are accused of killing two blackbucks during the shooting of the film ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ in 1998. The charges have been framed under the Wildlife Protection Act 1972.

All the accused may face imprisonment up to six years if found guilty. Further hearing will take place on April 27.
