Condition of Delhi Gangrape Victim remains Critical

TNI Bureau: The 23-year-old Delhi gangrape victim, who is battling for life at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore, continues to remain extremely critical. As per the latest report, she is suffering from infection of lungs and abdomen and she has an injury to brain.

The hospital authorities in Singapore said that the victim is struggling against all odds. No surgery can be conducted immediately as the patient is not fit for the operation.

The medical bulletin issued by Mount Elizabeth Hospital said, “The patient is in ICU. Our medical team’s investigations upon her arrival at the hospital yesterday showed that in addition to her prior cardiac arrest, she also had infection of her lungs and abdomen, as well as significant brain injury.”
