Gangrape: India Outraged, Protest outside Rashtrapati Bhavan

TNI Bureau: Outrage was seen across India demanding justice for the 23-year-old gangrape victim. Even the protest was staged outside Rashtrapati Bhavan in the national capital. The protesters tried to enter the President’s House demanding justice for the gangrape survivor.

The protests were also staged at Rajpath. The students including foreign citizens also joined the protest. Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit wanted strict laws to prevent the growing rape cases in the capital. The condition of the victim is still critical. She was gangraped by six people in a moving bus on Sunday night.

Meanwhile, fifth accused in the case has been detained in Uttar Pradesh during raid on Thursday night. The Delhi police will submit the status report of the case.
