Delhi Gangrape Victim Stable, Doctors call her ‘Brave Girl’

TNI Bureau: The 23-year-old girl, who was gangraped by six people in a moving private bus in Delhi on Sunday night, is battling for her life at Safdarjung hospital. She is still in ICU on life support. Two surgeries have been conducted so far. The doctors are hopeful that she would come out of the trauma.

The doctors attending the victim called her a brave girl. They confirmed that the victim is alert and conscious. Her kidneys, lungs, heart are currently functioning well. She is reportedly communicating through gestures.

The doctors at a press conference however refused to confirm that she is out of danger. They said that the victim is put on the ventilator. The injuries are extremely rare.

The entire nation is expressing deep concern towards the victim and the Home ministry had instructed to take possible measures to prevent the heinous crime in the city, which has turned into rape capital.
