TNI Bureau: Cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu is all set to quit the reality show Bigg Boss 6 to campaign in the assembly polls in Gujarat. Gujarat CM Narendra Modi and BJP President Nitin Gadkari wanted Sidhu to make his presence felt in Gujarat.
Sidhu’s wife Navjot Kaur has revealed this before the media yesterday. According to her, she got a call from Gadkari in this regard. The Colors channel has been informed about this and they have reportedly talked to Sidhu on this matter.
Since Gujarat polls are related to the prestige and pride of Narendra Modi and the BJP, there is no reason why Sidhu would defy the party and stay on Bigg Boss 6. Sidhu has been very impressive on the show and led from the front in all issues.
