Obama thanks People, Vows to bring Change

Date:

TNI Bureau: Barack Obama, who defeated Mitt Romney to get re-elected as the US
President, has addressed the people of America in his victory speech in Chicago and
thanked all. At the same time, he vowed to work together with both Republicans and
Democrats to bring changes.

“I have never been so hopeful about America. Compassion and generosity make America great. The best is yet to come. We will work together to bring that,” he said to the big applause from the crowd.

“We are an American family. We rise and fall together. Despite the differences, we have the same hopes”, said Obama. “I congratulate Governor Mitt Romney for this great fight. I am looking forward to sit with him and see what we can do together. We can build on the progresses we have made. We are more than a collection of red and blue states,” he added.

Obama did not forget to thank his wife, Michelle Obama, who stood behind her through thick and thin. “I would not have been the man without the woman with whom I married,” he said.
