TNI Bureau: The Odisha Health Department has revealed that 5 COVID-19 +VE cases have been reported in the State in the last 24 hours, taking the number of confirmed cases in Odisha to 60.
While 4 cases were detected in Bhubaneswar, 1 was in Jajpur. A 61-year-old man with a travel history to Kolkata had tested positive in Jajpur, as reported earlier. 564 samples were tested yesterday (highest daily testing).
The remaining four are from Bhubaneswar – 3 from Bomikhal (51-year-old male, 51-year-old female and 70-year-old male – all linked to existing cases) and 1 from Jharpada (50-year-old male linked to Case No. 42).
With this, the number of COVID-19 +VE cases in Bhubaneswar has gone up to 46.
