TNI Bureau: As per the Health Department’s website, one more COVID-19 positive case has been added to the list, taking the tally in Odisha to 56.
The 56th COVID-19 patient is a 60-year-old man from Sana Triolochanpur village in Jafarpur Panchayat of Jajpur district and recently returned from Kolkata. He got admitted to Ashwini COVID-19 Hospital in Cuttack. It takes the number of COVID-19 positive cases in Jajpur to 2.
As per the website, 564 samples were tested yesterday – highest single-day testing in Odisha. As one COVID +Ve case was reported from Bomikhal, Bhubaneswar during the day time yesterday, we can conclude that two positive cases were detected on Monday.
