Cyclone Hudhud: List of Cancelled and Diverted Trains

In view of the effect of severe Cyclone Hudhud, the Railways have cancelled, diverted and short terminated more number of trains originating and passing through ECoR’s jurisdiction, for safety of the passengers and to avoid their inconvenience.

2. 18517 Korba-Visakhapatnam Express from Korba on 12.10.14.
3. 17016 Secunderabad-Bhubaneswar Visakha Express from Secunderabad on 12.10.14.
4. 17487 Tirupati-Visakhapatnam Express from Tirupati on 12.10.14.
5. 08506 Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Special from Secunderabad on 12.10.14.
6. 18447 Bhubaneswar-Jagdalpur Hirakhand Express & 18437 Bhubaneswar-Jundagarh Road Express from Bhubaneswar on 12.10.14.

12703 Howrah-Secunderabad Falaknuma Express from Howrah on 13.10.14 will be diverted via Kharagpur-Jharsugura-Nagpur-Ballharshah.

VIA NARAJ-SAMBALPUR-JHARSUGURA-RAIPUR-NAGPUR:

18495 Rameshwaram-Bhubaneswar Express from Rameshwaram and 18464 Bangalore-Bhubaneswar Prashanti Express from Bangalore on 12.10.14 will be diverted on the above route.

VIA SAMBALPUR-TITLAGARH-RAIPUR : 02882 Bhubaneswar-Pune Premium Special from Bhubaneswar and 13351 Dhanbad-Alleppy Express from Dhanbad on 12.10.14 will be diverted on the above route.

Similarly, 18463 Bhubaneswar-Bangalore Prashanti Express from Bhubaneswar on 13.10.14 will be diverted via Sambalpur-Titlagarh-Raipur-Nagpur.

18309 Sambalpur-Nanded Express from Sambalpur will be diverted via Titlagarh-Raipur-Nagpur and Ballharshah on 13.10.14.

Apart from this, 17482 Bilaspur-Tirupati Express from Bilaspur on 12.10.14 will be diverted via Nagpur-Ballharshah and Vijayawara. 22852 Mangalore-Santragachi Express left Mangalore on 11.10.14 will also be diverted via Vijayawara-Nagpur-Jharsugura.

Short Termination of Trains:

1. 12808 Nizamuddin-Visakhapatnam Express left Nizamuddin on 11.10.14 will be short terminated at Raigada.
2. 18005 Howrah-Jagdalpur Samaleswari Express leaving Howrah on 12.10.14 will be short terminated at Titlagarh and will return as 18006 from Titlagarh to Howrah on 13.10.14. The services of Samaleswari Express between Titlagarh and Jagdalpur will remain cancelled on 13.10.14 & 14.10.14.
3. 18107 Rourkela-Koraput Express leaving Rourkela on 12.10.14 will be short terminated at Raigada and will return as 18108 Koraput-Rourkela Express from Raigada to Rourkela. The services of this train between Raigada and Koraput will remain cancelled on 13.10.14.
4. 12804 Nizamuddin-Visakhapatnam Express, 18520 LTT-Visakhapatnam Express, 12862 Nizamuddin-Visakhapatnam on 12.10.14 and 12718 Vijayawara-Visakhapatnam Express on 13.10.14 will be short terminated in South Central Railway jurisdiction.
