Imphal: Just three days after Biren Singh resigned from the Chief Minister’s post, the President’s rule has been imposed in the strife-torn Manipur.

This comes as the Bharatiya Janata Party was unsuccessful in naming a new Chief Minister.
The Ministry of Home Affairs has reportedly issued an official notification in this regard.
