Ashwini Vaishnaw, the new Union Minister was elected to Rajya Sabha from Odisha on a BJP ticket with BJD support. He was the Private Secretary to former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
At least 43 new and old Ministers take oath this evening during the Cabinet Expansion. They include Narayan Rane, Sarbananda Sonowal, Dr. Virendra Kumar, Jyotiradiya Scindia, Ramachandsra Prasad Singh, Ashwini Vaishnaw, Pashupati Kumar Paras and Bhupender Yadav.
