Shiromani Akali Dal leader Sukhbir Singh Badal survived an assassination attempt on Wednesday when a former Khalistani militant Narain Singh Chaura tried to shoot the former Punjab Deputy CM, who was performing the duties of a ‘sewadar’ at the Golden Temple in Amritsar.
