Passengers of Puri-Durg Express have a miraculous escape tonight after it rammed into a goods train, which was stationed at Kalajhari near Barang at the outskirts of Bhubaneswar. No casualties have been reported. However, some people have sustained minor injuries.

Since the train was running at a low speed, a disaster was averted. However, it is not immediately known how the Puri-Durg Express failed to get the proper signal. Rescue operation is going on at the site.

Efforts are on to clear the railway track at the earliest. Train services on this route have come to a complete halt.
