Even though, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is confident that his government will complete its full term, the Samajwadi Party, which is yet to clear its stand on giving support to UPA, claimed that the Lok Sabha polls may take place in November 2013.
SP Chief Mulayam Singh Yadav hinted at early polls in the country talking about his inside information. Even SP leader Ram Asrey Kushwaha raised his doubt over the completion of UPA government. He said that the government at Centre will not last much longer and elections may happen by October-November this year. It sends a clear message that the party is in no mood to give its support to the UPA.

On Thursday, the PM had said the SP may withdraw its support from UPA, but he ruled out any threat to the government or early elections. He made it clear that the government will complete its full five years and the next Lok Sabha elections will be held in 2014. Mulayam led SP, which is supporting government from outside, has been criticising the government for growing corruption in the country.
Meanwhile, the Congress on Thursday hit back at Mulayam for calling the party “cheat and clever”. Congress reminded him that he had shared the dais with PM when UPA’s report card was released in 2012. Now Mulayam needs to decide whether his party will be with secular or communal forces. Congress could not digest when Mulayam lauded senior BJP leader LK Advani last week.
