Diesel Prices to be increased by 40-50 paise Every Month

TNI Bureau: The common men of India will have to suffer everyday as the diesel prices will be hiked by 40-50 paise per litre every month. The enhanced rate will result in the price hike of all the essential commodities.

It is another jolt to public after Oil Minister Veerappa Moily announced that diesel prices will be hiked every month till the losses of the oil marketing companies will be completely recovered.

The government on January 17 had allowed the oil companies to increase the diesel prices to recover the losses occurred from selling the fuel at subsidized rates.

The price of the diesel is now Rs. 47.65 in Delhi, Rs. 51.51 in Kolkata, Rs. 53.71 in Mumbai and Rs. 50.68 in Chennai. It will be increased 40-50 paise every month.
