BPL Familes in Delhi to get 12 Subsidised Cylinders

TNI Bureau: In a desperate bid to woo the voters and ensure that Congress does not suffer a huge setback in the upcoming assembly polls, the Sheila Dikshit government in Delhi has decided to increase the number of subsidised LPG cylinders from 9 to 12 for BPL families and other weaker sections of the society.

The decision would benefit four lakh families across Delhi. Recently, the centre had increased the cap on subsidised LPG cylinders to 9 in a year from 6. The Delhi government would release Rs 15 crore more in order to give the benefits to the poor.
