Four die at Sushrut Trauma Centre for Lack of Oxygen

New Delhi: In a shocking development yesterday, four patients died due to lack of Oxygen supply at Sushrut Trauma Centre in New Delhi. The Delhi government has ordered a probe into the incident.

A case of negligence has been registered against the company that supplies oxygen to the Sushrut Trauma Centre. The Delhi government has announced a compensation of Rs 2 lakh to the kin of each of the victims.

All dead patients were treated at the ICU of the trauma centre. The operator’s fault led to the tragedy, the initial probe suggested.
