TNI Bureau: Like other opinion polls across the media houses, the ABP News-AC Nielsen opinion poll gave a clear verdict to Gujarat CM Narendra Modi, saying he is set to make a hattrick in the upcoming polls. The opinion poll has predicted 124 seats for the BJP – seven more than the previous tally of 117 in 2007.
The polls gave 51 seats to the Congress – eight less than the 2007 tally of 59. It seems the Keshubhai factor miserably failed to make any impact in the polls, dealing a major blow to the Congress. The opinion poll was conducted across 91 assembly segments in October 2012.
