Digvijaya gets a Match in Rakhi Sawant

Date:

TNI Bureau:The twaddle of Congress Party, Digvijaya Singh on Sunday compared Rakhi Sawant with the anti-graft activist-turned-politician Arvind Kejriwal saying that they both try and expose but with no substance.

The Congress General Secretary said, ‘Arvind Kejriwal is like Rakhi Sawant. They both try to expose but with no substance’. “Arvind Kejriwal levelled all baseless allegations; there was nothing new in it. If he comes with up a new allegation, then we will pay attention to it,” he added.

Singh also sought an apology from Rakhi Sawant for making this comparison. “Apologies to Rakhi Sawant I am an old fan of hers!” he further said in his tweet.

Hitting back at Digvijaya, Rakhi Sawant had said, “Singh has gone out of his senses. Considering him a smart and intelligent person, I was a big fan of him, but today he attacked me. He used my shoulder to fire on Kejriwal. He shouldn’t compare me with Kejriwal bhai.”

The item girl of Bollywood further said that she would now drag the congress leader to the court on a defamation case for insulting a woman.

Meanwhile, Kejriwal, who parted ways with Anna Hazare, had earlier alleged that the UPA Government-led by Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh has turned out to be the biggest economic threat to India.

For the past few days Kejriwal has so far targeted Congress President Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law Robert Vadra’s land deals, the then Law Minister and present External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid of allegedly misusing funds allotted to his NGO, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Nitin Gadkari in the Maharashtra irrigation scam and the Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance group.

On the whole, Digvijaya Singh gets a match in Rakhi Sawant in order to counter Kejriwal and his series of allegations.
