TNI Bureau: A day after his son Mahesh Jethmalani has quit the BJP National Executive, protesting against the cotinuance of Nitin Gadkari as the party President, eminent lawyer and Rajya Sabha MP Ram Jethmalani has dropped a bombshell, saying many senior party leaders are disgruntled with Gadkari.

In an exclusive interview to leading TV channel Times Now, Ram Jethmalani said that many senior leaders, including Jaswant Singh, Yashwant Sinha and Shatrughan Sinha have talked to him over the issue, expressing their dissatisfaction with Gadkari.

The senior BJP leaders have reportedly taken strong exception to the corruption charges against Gadkari as well as his recent comment equating the IQ of Swami Vivekananda to that of Dawood Ibrahim. Jaswant Singh and Yashwant Sinha may meet Ram Jethmalani today to discuss the future strategy.

Another report suggests that Nitin Gadkari will meet LK Advani to discuss the current issue. Also, senior RSS leader S Gurumurthy may hold talks with Jaswant Singh and Yashwant Sinha later today.
