TNI Bureau: The southwest monsoon has finally arrived in Odisha on Thursday, bringing huge relief to the people after months of constant heat wave.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional centre informed that the low pressure area over East central and adjoining West central Bay of Bengal now lies over west central & adjoining north west Bay of Bengal off north Andhra Pradesh­ & South Odisha Coasts.

Under its impact, thunderstorm, lightning and heavy rainfall is likely in several parts of the State till June 12.
