Arvind Kejriwal announces Political Strategy

Date:

TNI Bureau: The anti-corruption crusader, Arvind Kejriwal, has released a vision document in the name of ‘Swaraj ka Sankalp’ for his political party. The vision document says the people are the rulers of the country and this is not just a political party but a revolution by the people. He also declares that the name of the party will be announced in November 26.

The vision document promises to bring the Lokpal Bill within 10 days of the elections if his party got a political mandate. Reiterating team Anna’s voice, the document says that the Lokpal will take not more than two years to act on all the corruption cases of our country. It also assures that all colonial laws on land acquisition to be abolished if the party comes to power.

The document says that no MP and MLA of Kejriwal’s party will use red light cars meant for VIPs. The MPs and MLAs of his party will also not take government accommodation and security in order to highlight that they truly stand for the common man and will live like any ordinary citizen of the country. It also declares that all the expenditure of public representatives of his party will be published in detail on the party’s website in order to maintain the transparency.

The document states that, his party will support the hitherto caste based reservation policy. However, it points out that the benefits of reservation should not go only to those who have already benefited from the existing policy. It also says that the Muslim community will be brought out of the circle of suspicion, deprivation, and backwardness through education, employment, and equal opportunities.

More than anything else, the vision document says that if the government brings the Jan Lokpal Bill and creates the Right to Reject and Recall provision, then Kejriwal’s team will not enter in politics.
