CBSE Class X Results out: Girls outshine Boys

Girls outperformed boys once again in CBSE Class X exam this year with a pass percentage of 98.94 percent. The pass percentage of boys stood at 98.64 per cent. The results were declared today. The total pass percentage is 98.76, a marginal increase over last year.

Chennai topped in the exam with the pass percentage of 99.80 per cent, the highest among all the regions in the country. Panchkula stood second with the results of 99.45 per cent, followed by Ajmer with 99.38 percent. Bhubaneswar ranked fourth in the list with 99.37 percent. Patna registered 99.30 percent and Allahabad stood sixth with 99.17 percent.

Delhi stood seventh with the pass percentage of 98.40 percent, while Guwahati was found at the bottom of the table with the results of 90.93 per cent.

A total of 1,25,7893 candidates had appeared the exam this year.
