TNI Bureau: Several senior BJD leaders rushed to Utkal Hospital today to see President of the Biju Shramik Samukhya and former Minister, Prafulla Samal, who is undergoing treatment for serious ailments.

BJD President Naveen Patnaik had directed the leaders to visit the hospital and enquire about Prafulla Samal’s health condition. Prafulla Samal is currently admittede to the ICU of Utkal Hospital.

The BJD delegation held discussions with the attending doctors to ensure that he receives the best possible medical care and wished him a speedy recovery. The BJD delegation comprised Senior Vice President and former Minister Debi Prasad Mishra, Senior Vice President and former Minister Pramila Mallik, Vice President and former Minister Sanjay Dasburma, Rajya Sabha MP Subhashish Khuntia, Chandabali MLA Byomkesh Ray, Bhandaripokhari MLA Sanjib Mallik and Puri District President Umakanta Samantaray, among others.

Later, BJD leader Sujata Rout Karthikeyan also visited Prafulla Samal at the hospital.
