Sanjay Dutt granted 14-day Furlough

Actor Sanjay Dutt was granted a two-week furlough on Tuesday by Pune Yerawada Central Jail authorities on medical grounds. It was a partial relief for the actor, who is currently serving sentence for illegal possession of weapons in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case.

sanjay_duttDutt left the Yerawada jail at around 9.30 am for Mumbai on a 14-day leave after his pending application for furlough was granted by the jail authorities.

The actor is serving a jail term after he surrendered before a Special TADA Court in Mumbai in May following the Supreme Court’s verdict on March 21, 2013.
