Odisha Govt to set up Memorial for Martyred Covid Warriors

TNI Bureau: After interacting with the family members of martyred Covid Warriors in the State, CM Naveen Patnaik has announced setting up of a Memorial in Bhubaneswar in memory of the departed souls.

The CM interacted with the families of Covid Warriors at various places in the State via video conferencing. He expressed deep condolences to them and said that the sacrifices of the warriors won’t go in vain.

“We will definitely win this war against Coronavirus,” said the CM.

A Memorial will be erected in Bhubaneswar in memory of the martyred Covid Warriors. Names of all Covid Warriors who lost their lives while fighting Coronavirus, will be inscribed on the Memorial.

Out of the 101 martyred Covid Warriors in Odisha, families of 96 have already been paid Rs 50 lakh each. Others will receive the assistance within two days.

The CM also assured the family members he would ensure that they won’t face any problems and get all kind of support from the Government in future.
